I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. I am also a qualified Chartered Accountant (Non-practicing) and a Chartered Financial Analyst. I have spent my entire career in financial services, previously as Head of Operational Risk and Insurance and a member of the Group Risk Committee of Schroders plc. In 2012, I switched careers to my vocation, personal financial advice.
The core of my role is to understand my clients, their unique and ever-changing situations, priorities in life, and future aspirations. I then apply my skills and technical knowledge to a thorough exploration of the best ways to support each client with clear, straight-forward advice.
I adapt my approach to suit each client’s needs. For those with limited knowledge or experience, I work with you to improve your financial awareness and understanding. If you have a hectic life or work in a high-pressure environment with little time or energy to devote to financial planning, I will support you to ensure that your money still works hard for you. My aim is to make financial planning easily digestible for all, through trusted long-term relationships.
Outside work, I enjoy watching sport, doing a spot of DIY and working in the garden, though I have loads to learn. I am a huge animal lover, compete in dog agility and live just outside Ipswich with my best friend, three dogs, four cats and a rabbit. If I get distracted by saying hello to your pets when I meet you, I apologise now!
